Who we are. Purple Iris Media LLC (“Purple Iris Media,” “PIM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates purpleirismedia.digital (the “Site”). Purple Iris Media LLC is responsible for the Personal Information processed through the Site.

Scope. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect Personal Information when you visit the Site, contact us, subscribe to email updates, or interact with links on the Site. It should be read together with our Cookie Policy (EU), which identifies the cookies and similar technologies currently detected on the Site.

1. Personal Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

  • Information you provide through forms, such as your name, email address, message, subscription preferences, and any other information you choose to provide.
  • Communications, including messages you send to us and our responses.
  • Device and usage information, such as browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, approximate location, referring page, dates and times of visits, cookie identifiers, and interactions with Site features and links.
  • Consent information, including the choices you make through the Site’s consent banner.
  • Affiliate-attribution information, if and when affiliate links are activated, such as a click identifier, referring page, time of click, and information needed by the affiliate network and merchant to attribute a qualifying purchase. PIM does not receive your payment-card details or the contents of your order from the merchant unless expressly stated otherwise.

Please do not submit health records, medical details, government identification numbers, payment-card information, or other sensitive Personal Information through our contact or subscription forms.

2. How and why we use Personal Information

We use Personal Information to:

  • operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Site;
  • respond to questions and other communications;
  • provide email updates that you request and manage subscriptions;
  • understand Site traffic, content performance, and visitor interactions;
  • measure outbound and affiliate-link activity and, when applicable, receive commissions;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent for non-essential cookies, Analytics, and requested marketing email; performance of a contract or steps at your request when responding to a request or providing a service; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

3. Forms and email communications

The Site uses WPForms for its contact and subscription forms. Form submissions may be stored in the Site’s WordPress environment and sent to authorized PIM email accounts. We use Brevo to manage requested email subscriptions and related records. Brevo may process your email address, subscription status, and email-delivery or engagement information on our behalf. You may unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting us.

Submitting a contact form does not subscribe you to marketing email unless you separately request or consent to that subscription. We do not use form submissions to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies, consent, and Google Analytics

We use essential technologies required for Site operation and a Complianz consent-management tool to record and apply cookie choices. Non-essential statistics or marketing technologies are not intended to operate until the required consent is given. You may Accept, Deny, or customize your choices through the banner and may change or withdraw your choices later by using the Manage Consent control displayed on the Site. We also instruct our consent tool to respect recognized Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals where supported.

PIM uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand Site usage. Subject to your consent where required, GA4 may collect or derive information such as page views, scroll activity, outbound-link clicks, file downloads, form-start and form-submission events, browser and device information, cookie or device identifiers, referring pages, and general geographic information. Form-interaction measurement is intended to record that a form was started or submitted, not the contents entered into the form. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, messages, or other directly identifying form contents to Google Analytics.

PIM has configured GA4 with Google Signals off, user-ID and user-provided-data collection off, granular location and device collection off, and advertising personalization disabled in all available regions. Email and selected URL-query-parameter redaction are enabled. GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Google may briefly use an IP address to provide the service and derive general location information before discarding it. PIM has set user-level and event-level Analytics retention to 14 months; aggregated reporting may be retained longer.

5. Affiliate links

PIM may publish affiliate links to third-party merchants, including iHerb, through an affiliate network such as CJ Affiliate. If you select an activated affiliate link, the network and merchant may use cookies or similar technologies and process pseudonymous information—such as IP address, cookie or click identifiers, referring URL, browsing activity, order identifier, and transaction information—to attribute a purchase and provide reporting. Their processing begins when you interact with the affiliate link and is governed by their terms and privacy notices.

PIM does not control a third-party merchant’s checkout, account, payment, or order-processing practices. Please review the CJ Services Privacy Notice and iHerb Privacy Policy before providing information to those services. PIM will provide an affiliate disclosure near recommendations that contain affiliate links. PIM does not knowingly sell Personal Information for money and does not use Google Analytics for advertising personalization or cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Service providers and other disclosures

We may disclose Personal Information to service providers that support the Site and process information for us or under their own applicable terms, including:

  • Hostinger for website hosting, infrastructure, backups, and related services;
  • WPForms and WordPress-related providers for form and Site functionality;
  • Brevo for requested email subscriptions and delivery;
  • Complianz and CookieDatabase.org for consent management and cookie-description synchronization;
  • Google Analytics for consent-based Site measurement; and
  • CJ Affiliate, iHerb, and other disclosed affiliate partners, if and when their tracking links are activated.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process; investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; enforce our agreements; protect rights, safety, and property; or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Data retention

We retain Personal Information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution needs. Retention depends on the type of record:

  • Contact messages and related correspondence: generally up to 24 months after the matter is resolved, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary.
  • Email-subscription records: while you remain subscribed, followed by a limited suppression or consent record as needed to honor your opt-out and demonstrate compliance.
  • Google Analytics user-level and event-level data: up to 14 months under PIM’s current property setting; aggregated reports may remain longer.
  • Consent records and security logs: for the period reasonably required to demonstrate choices, operate the Site, investigate incidents, and meet legal obligations.
  • Affiliate-attribution data available to PIM: according to the applicable network’s reporting, payment, fraud-prevention, tax, and recordkeeping requirements.

Other providers may retain information under their own policies and legal obligations.

8. International data transfers

PIM is based in the United States, and the providers identified above may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards, such as applicable data-processing terms and standard contractual clauses.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of Personal Information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and appeal a refusal of a request. You may also have rights concerning the sale or sharing of Personal Information, targeted advertising, profiling, and the use of sensitive Personal Information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

You may manage non-essential cookies through the Site’s Manage Consent control and unsubscribe from marketing email through the unsubscribe link. To submit another privacy request, email customerservice@purpleirismedia.digital. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification.

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority where you live or work or where you believe a violation occurred. California residents may exercise applicable rights to know, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of covered Personal Information and to opt out of covered sale or sharing. PIM does not knowingly process Personal Information for targeted advertising or sell it for money.

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided Personal Information, please contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information, including encrypted connections, access controls, software maintenance, backups, security monitoring, and data-minimization practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-party websites

The Site contains links to websites and services that PIM does not own or control. This Privacy Policy does not govern those third parties. Their privacy notices and terms apply when you visit or use their services.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Site, our providers, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the revised Policy on this page and change the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use Personal Information, we will provide any additional notice or seek consent required by law.
